Drought!

7/24/2012

Yes, it's been a hot, dry summer. You may have noticed the grass is brown and dry and trees are losing leaves. The places shaded by trees may still be greener, since moisture does not evaporate as quickly from the ground. Newly planted trees will need watering to stay alive; about 1" per week. Let it soak in well. Dormant grass will grow again when the temperatures cool off and rain falls. Save water by not watering your lawn now.
