Seeing Green:
A Tour of Bloomington's Green Spots

Have you seen these Green Spots signs in and around Bloomington? They
draw attention to special areas that have earned the designation thanks to
their  designs that help protect the natural environment. Among  the
Green Spots are residential and commercial properties, gardens,
recycling facilities, and more. Learn what they are, where they're located, and
how to create one of your own! Following an information session and lunch,
participants visit designated sites. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Materials
and  transportation provided. Tour held rain or shine, so dress appropriately
for the  weather. Co-sponsored by the Bloomington Commission on Sustainability,
Bloomington Environmental Commission, Center for Sustainable Living, and Monroe
County. For more information, visit us at www.greenspots.in.
For ages 18 yrs. and up.
